Neither pop nor art
In the future everyone will be Andy Warhol for fifteen minutes.

I get the idea to take this picture every single day during the five-second period between blowdrying my hair and putting hairspray in. I don't even particularly like Andy Warhol very much. I just had to get this thing out of my system.
Photoshoppery involved: This is a composite of two images; one of me wearing sunglasses and one without. I did this for a silly reason, really; the lenses were too dark for my tastes so I overlapped the two versions and then played with the opacity of the lenses on their own layer. What else... that backdrop is not really there (I don't know where it really is). I used the cloning tool to remove my earrings and lip studs. I also did lots of dodging and burning and levels-adjusting. But that's really my hair and my face and my clothes. Oh yeah, and I'm not really in black and white in real life.
I'm not happy with the style of the sunglasses but they were the most appropriate of the ten or so pairs I have laying around my bedroom. The sweater I'm wearing is one of my most amazing thrift store finds ever. It's super stretchy and tight and it's actually got leather panels (not shown) on the sides and the shoulders. I got it in New York and have never worn it before since I've been on this suit-and-tie-every-day kick for ages now.
It was very tempting to call this entry Songs for Krulla but that's just too obscure.
